SWANN’S GLOBAL EXPANSION SET TO CONTINUE IN 2006

Global security monitoring solutions and closed circuit television (CCTV) specialist, Swann Communications is not resting on its 2005 successes and will strive even harder to sustain its steep growth curve in 2006.

Having consolidated and dramatically grown its presence in the USA, Australia, the UK, France, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa, Swann has also recently opened up a range of new markets in Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Middle-East.

During 2005, Swann General Manager - Global Business Development, Mr Dennis Freedman secured significant distribution arrangements in The Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Bangladesh, Croatia, Turkey and the Middle East - encompassing UAE (including Dubai International Duty Free), Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Sudan, Qatar, Yemen, Oman and Eritrea. Swann will be available in all major consumer Electronics, IT and DIY chains in these markets.

In addition to this, Swann is targeting further expansion in Asia Pacific, Middle-East as well as in both Western and Eastern Europe.

Swann has established distribution in Singapore with
the publicly listed company, Convergent Systems.

Mr Swann said that 2005 was the most significant year in the company’s history to date. It heralded the incorporation and opening of a new office and manufacturing hub in Hong Kong as well as the bringing on new state-of-the-art distribution centers in Melbourne, Australia and Los Angeles, USA.

“The Hong Kong office is paramount to realizing our growth expectations in Asian and other global markets,” Mr Swann said. “It is an international trading hub that allows us to consolidate existing relationships and develop new ones in all regions across the world.
