SWANN EXPANDS THROUGH NEW RETAIL CHAIN IN INDIA  November 14, 2006 Swann has recently launched in ‘Croma’ in Mumbai. ‘Croma’ a new consumer electronics concept store is a joint venture retail chain between The Tata Group and Woolworths. The Tata Group is one of India’s oldest, largest and most respected business conglomerates. It is made up of 96 companies and operates in six continents. While Woolworths is an Australian retail giant, operating for over 80 years and continuously growing, Woolworths now operates over 2000 stores across Australia in 12 different formats. ‘Croma’ plans to open over 30 multi-brand outlets of consumer electronics and durables across India by the end of 2007.
