SWANN PARTNERS WITH COGNIMATICS FOR PEOPLE COUNTER SOFTWARE

February 9, 2006

Swann has recently signed a deal with leading Swedish Software company, Cognimatics. The arrangement gives Swann exclusive worldwide rights to bundle the Cognimatrics software with Swann hardware and distribute the products through retail channels.

Cognimatics is the developer of TrueView People Counter™ software. In conjunction with a Swann camera and PC Capture Card package, the software allows for business owners to accurately count how many people have entered or exited their store. It can also be used to count cars or any other object. TrueView People Counter™ is based on Cognimatics’ patent pending technology for Cognitive Vision which automatically detects objects and events in image streams. The software is extremely easy to install and use.

The product consists of a color camera connected to standard PC running TrueView People Counter™. The software allows business users to access valuable information such as total visitors per day, week, month or year and compare between each of these. It also has a sophisticated statistical package to properly analyze the data.

The TrueView People Counter software will be available in retail channels worldwide exclusively with the Swann camera and hardware bundle. The package should be available in stores by mid 2006 and retail at the value for money price of USD$299.
