SWANN ON DISPLAY AT BIGGEST BUNNINGS SUPERSTORE

31 August 2005

On August 16, the biggest home improvement store in the southern hemisphere officially opened its doors. The new Bunnings Warehouse in Vermont South in Melbourne is a massive 16,550 square metres and features a state-of-the-art interactive security monitoring display from Swann.

The Swann display, located in the ‘Alarms & Monitoring’ section, is headed ‘Easy DIY Security’ and is designed to show working products and provide information to customers, to demonstrate just how simple security monitoring can be. Bunnings customers can see the Swann DVD on Easy DIY Monitoring and see a quad view of real, working security cameras. Whilst the lower section of the display is divided into four sections: Home/Office cameras, Wireless Security and Monitoring & Recording with products and DIY guidelines displayed for each. The fourth section is a feedback ‘bench’ for customers to read about products from a master catalogue, and / or use the tear-off feedback / follow up sheets to make an order or for inquiries at the Special Orders desk.

Customers wanting more information can watch the security DVD, read the catalogue or take home one of the brochures that are on the display. A number of products in packs sit below the display but if a product is not on shelf, it can be ordered via the Special Orders desk.

The new Bunnings Warehouse at Vermont South is open for business and, in terms of scope, really needs to be ‘seen to be believed’. Check out the Swann interactive ‘Easy DIY Security’ display when you next visit.
